On the back of the painting, Georgia O'Keeffe is handwritten in black ink . The initials AS are written in black ink at the area where the canvas is affixed to the 14-inch section of stretcher. Also on the backing, handwritten in graphite, is Ritz Tower – 25, and the circled initials OK.
