In this abstract work, layered pastel forms in shades of pink, light blue, and yellow overlap one another like petals framing the center of a flower. The petal-like shapes are narrow and run vertically along the canvas. A set of larger, softly shaded pink and white shapes frame the central petals.

General Remarks
Whitney Archive, Abiquiú Notebooks indicate, "Exam. at Amer. Place, March 1946. . . . No signature. On backing: In pencil by O'Keeffe: 'Grey Lines with Black Blue and Yellow. 23?" [not verified]. Museum files note Whitney Archive and Abiquiú Notebooks inscription and indicate another: "'Wedding'/by Georgia O'Keeffe 1925" (Alfred Stieglitz, medium not recorded). Lost inscription dates 1925.
