Two semicircular forms that fade from dark blue on the outside to green and gray at their centers sit in the middle of the composition. A few rectangular strips of blue paint extend diagonally across the bottom right of the image. The forms contrast with the exposed, plain white paper surrounding them.

TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION

Good

CONDITION NARRATIVE
  • Paper is heavily cockled and wrinkled.
  • There are scattered slightly brown inclusions scattered throughout the paper
  • Shadows of hinges visible at top.
  • Scattered metallic inclusions throughout.
  • Thicker areas of paint have network cracking but are stable Frame is in very good condition with a minor abrasion on the left rail near the center.
