Oil on canvas, 24 x 40 inches
CR No. 1162
|
An adobe wall extends across the canvas. The beige structure stands on a strip of land painted in the same shade. A greenish black door occupies the center of the composition, and the entire scene is set under a pale blue sky with white clouds. A long, prominent shadow cuts diagonally across the wall and horizontally across the earth below, turning the wall and earth a deep shade of brown.
