Two large swirling white flowers, one atop the other. The interior of the bottom flower is visible, yet the top flower is tilted upward hiding its center. The two flowers fill the majority of the canvas, with a sliver of blue - perhaps an ocean horizon line along the top.

General Remarks
Not recorded Whitney Archive, Downtown Gallery Archive. Abiquiú Notebooks notes backing inscription. Titled Two Jimson Weeds Bella Donna Hāna by O'Keeffe in Georgia O'Keeffe (1978). This flower closely resembles the Jimson Weed O'Keeffe depicted in the 1930s, see cat. nos. 785, 815, 994. By 1979, O'Keeffe's vision was poor, which may explain why she mistitled the painting in her book. (Source: Lynes, 1999)
