The centennial exhibition of works by Georgia O’Keeffe includes over 120 paintings, watercolors, drawings and pastels by this important American artist. Focusing on the most influential aspects of her career, the core of the exhibition is drawn from rarely seen works from O’Keeffe’s estate and is supplemented by major works from public and private collections. The show presents the best of O’Keeffe’s abstractions, flower paintings, figure studies, cityscapes, still lifes and landscapes. The exhibition was organized by the National Gallery of Art and is made possible by a grant from Southwestern Bell Foundation.
